I first started shopping at Hanks Place in the early 2000s because they’ve got a great selection of pipes and fittings and they’re a convenient local business. I was what you’d call a rather green farmer back in those days and new to a lot of stuff like water reticulation, pipes, fittings and pumps. Robyn and Darren taught me almost everything I now know about irrigation and water systems. They were always happy to help me out. The service just doesn’t stop at the door for them.
Robyn and Darren really value their relationships. If something doesn’t go right and it’s late, or it’s snowing, whatever it may be, they’re always there to help. They’re always prompt with replacing parts and pumps. They’ve got an amazingly fast turnaround time. Not only that but everything with Hanks Place is always supplied and finished to a high standard.
One year, a few days before Christmas, we had a bad water shortage. We drilled a bore and there was no water. So, we had to go to Plan B. Hanks Place moved heaven and earth to see we got the parts and we were up and running with water on Christmas eve. A huge feat. Their can-do attitude means nothing is too big a problem for them. There’s no shagging around.
